Volant Diesel Cold Air Intake - 1999 - 2003 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke

The 7.3-liter Powerstroke was one of the first diesels to show off some power. Nevertheless, Volant found a way to add more efficiency and torque. Volant's design of the air box gave the engine a chance to pull air threw a larger diameter from the fender well and reinserting the stock scoop to pull air between the radiator and the headlight. Opening the plastic plate behind the grill also gives the Volant intake a cool shot of air. Volant also needed to make a custom metal battery tray to relocate the stock battery to allow the larger Primo filter to pull a greater volume of air to the factory turbo.
